Overview

The introductory course will give you a direct experience of the aliveness of nature and our ancestral relationship with nature. The introductory course touches upon the importance of nature’s influence in our lives and the amazing ability of plants to guide and heal. It will inspire you to relate to plants as living beings and recognize their generous source of help to live a fulfilled life. Seeing plants as living beings allows us to recognize that we are part of them, and they of us – we are not separate. We are family. Through an introduction to the worldview of the five phases, you will learn a language for communicating with plants, listening and learning from them.

In these modern times, we are not taught to see the plants and trees as sacred or as having wisdom. In this void, many are expressing a desire to connect with nature, ancestral wisdom, and the land. This course supports that journey back to connection with the natural world. We will explore our relationship with the plants that live around you: the common plants that grow in your yard or surrounding area, the weeds that find their way through the cracks in the cement on the sidewalk, the trees that grace your streets and forests. With whatever types of plants and trees live near you, you will be able to perceive them with different eyes; through a new worldview.

Whether you want to deepen your relationship with nature, learn how to communicate with plants, enrich the quality of your life, or become a Plant Spirit Medicine healer, the Plant Spirit Medicine: Growing Awareness of Nature course will guide you toward that goal. The memory of connection with all living beings is calling us and now is the time to answer.
